SMTP Email Configuration
In PHP CRM, SMTP email configuration setup is very simple. You just need to fill mail server details in form.
For email configuration you need to submit following information: –
• Server Type
• Server
• Username
• Password
• Port
Server Type: – Server Type is either SSL or TLS. SSL stands for Secure Socket Layer, SSL is used for providing secure internet connection for transfer data between two systems. And TLS is an updated version of SSL. It is more secure than SSL.
Server: – SMTP Mail server(SMTP Server stands for Simple Mail Transfer Protocol and it is used for send, receive email between senders and receivers. For example, Gmail’s SMTP server address is smtp.gmail.com).
Username: – Email which is used for send the email to the customer.
Password: – email password.
Port: – An “SMTP Port” is the part of internet address that is used for transfer email. For example, 465 and 587 are port number.
PHP CRM also provide the feature of Test SMTP Email. In which you can enter the email address to test mail.
